These 3 vegan kids lunch ideas are no-cook!!! This was 100% inspired by a specific Edyn Jacks (What A Fat Vegan Eats) video (link to that video below). Usually I dig around pinterest, get inspired then move forward. This time I was lounging around youtube watching Edyn’s video. Dude when she whipped out the vegan cheese and crackers….. there are no words to describe. I would have never thought to make this had I not seen her video.
I was digging around ebay for a kids lunch box but the cheap ones were uninspiring and the ones I like were top dollar (not gonna do it). Then we went to Aldi. Aldi is seriously so random. I mentioned how they randomly had vegan mayo one day and vegan sausage another day. It’s the same with their random non-food items. I saw a veggie spiralizer there once. About 6 months ago they had an air fryer. Last time I was there they had this little lunch box. The random shit will likely not be there the next time I go.
For $6 I figured I might as well buy the lunch box since I was pretty much not going to buy one other wise. In the video I show how versatile it is which is not captured in the pictures. The photo only shows the freezer gel portion of the box.
Vegan Cheese + Crackers Lunchables
THIS!!! Vegan cheese and crackers. With grapes <3 How have I not gone this route in life before? I’m so pumped that I have almost a whole box of crackers left along with more daiya cheese. In Edyn’s video she used daiya’s jalapeno cheese. Dude, DUDE. I love spicy, peppery chz and I had no idea they even sold such a flavor. Hands down this has changed my life.
10 crackers, couple slices vegan turkey deli meat, 1/2 brick vegan cheese (daiya jalapeno), handful of grapes
- Cut chz and veggie meat into desired shapes
- Add crackers and fruit to the meat and cheese
- Stuff it in a lunch box. ENJOY

Vegan Chips + Dip Lunchables
Will a meal of chips and dip get everyone up in arms? It doesn’t seem like a proper meal but lunchables does sell nachos. I did buy stuff to make the greatest vegan cheese dip that I’ve shared on the blog a million times. But I was lazy and tried to imagine what a busy mom might do. So I went the salsa route to make this a no-cook lunch idea. If salsa feels unsubstantial feel free to make a big batch of vegan cheese dip. It’s to die for and made out of veggies!
I admit that I was skeptical on how satisfying some corn ships with some store bought salsa would be but I was on board within one dipped chip. I never eat chips and dip. Another win for me! This was great. And I didn’t even have to dirty the cutting board and knife.
1.5 servings corn chips, 2 servings salsa, small oranges
- Pour corn chips
- Add salsa (or vegan cheese dip sauce) to the lunch box
- Peel an couple oranges and you’re done. ENOY
Vegan Cheese Pizza Lunchable
How is it that I always think plain basic food will not dazzle me then I get blown away with how good it is. I’m a foodie (hate that word) in the sense that I can eat a wide variety of foods and be overly captivated. Actually I think I’m more impressed with crappy food because I set the bar low then get blown out of the water. Fancy food often feels like a disappointment.
I’ve never eaten pizza lunchables. They just do not look appetizing. Mark told me that the pizza ones were his favorite lunchable growing up. (My parents never bought us shit like lunchables.) I took one bite of this and was like, “oh, this is good. What the hell was I imagining it would taste like?” For the millionth time, I most definitely recommend this and was surprised but its goodness.
pita-flatbread kind of tortilla, tomato sauce, vegan cheese, raspberry
- Cut whatever you’re using for the crust so that it fits your lunch box
- Add sauce, vegan cheese and fruit to the box. Done!
