I honestly care more about the reviews than anything else. Without honest reviews people either don’t buy the product or they buy it with the wrong expectations. So reviews can really cut out the bullshit.

On an unrelated note: I totally nerd out to the pictures people add to their amazon reviews. I will scroll through every damn customer photo when window shopping on amazon. I’m not 100% sure why I love it so much.

  1. How did I miss your Tikki Tandoori or Lobster Roll or Tofu Chicken? You even make Ethiopian dishes seem easy, how the hell did I miss the vids on these?! And not a single George Foreman Grill recipe o_O — is that going to be a separate cookbook??

    • I always “like” your videos, so I see that I did watch these, but somehow didn’t think of fixing these? Why, they look delish. Of course, I have been super-distracted in the last few months, but still. Must remedy this. Okay, will stop spamming you and go re-watch the videos for the recipes that have caught my eye.

    • I was trying to keep it simple so the foreman didn’t make the cut πŸ™‚

I think it’s easy to miss some of the recipes. When the featured picture or video thumbnail only showcases 2 pictures it’s easy to overlook what else was included.

Dude the amount of times I’ll click on my own damn blog posts and see a recipe at the bottom like “Oh! wasn’t expecting to find this little gem here” ha ha ha

      • Well, the other good thing about your cookbook is that you don’t need any appliances, which is perfect if you’re marketing this to students, who are broke and, if they live in dorms, probably not even allowed to have appliances. (Lazy people may or may not have appliances, ha ha.)

You make some of your recipes with a food processor, but people can either get one really cheap off Craigslist or use a knife or a box grater or a potato masher, depending on what needs doing. (Yes, I am McGyver in the kitchen when I need to be!)

        • Ohhhh!!! McGyver in the kitchen. YES!!!

dude, I used a blender from the dollar store for YEARS. I’m very proud that that. Clearly my claim to fame.

I don’t know how people live without a food processor. Who can live without banana ice cream? I want to know!

  2. I am going to Methodist there in Dallas Feb. 15 for surgery. I blew it when I left Iowa. As soon as I am able I am going back into the Sierra Nevada Mountains about 120 miles north of Lake Taho Nevada. I have to go back and stand in the mountains amongst the trees and Feather River. This is where I find PEACE. I had my really big HERB garden there. Now they have delivery service from the DISPENCARY. California does not mess around, they have always been so far advanced in every thing they do there. I just don’t fit in with rednecks and hicks.
I love your tatoo story. I am getting TINKER BELL tattooed on my arm I think. Where does it hurt less? You will know.
I told about what I saw in the soybean and cornfields in Iowa on Planet Earth News. They published it and put my story next to Opra’s where she got in trouble for talking about meat hamburgers. Now some guy has my gmail address and is sending all kinds of stuff like VEGANS belong to a religous cult because we care about the foods we eat. My daughter helped me block him. Please don’t publish this OK.

I am proud of your Ebook. Have you ever made nut meats, my grandma showed me her recipe in 1967. I am writing my own from her’s.

I am taking my phone to the hospital so I can look at your recipe’s. I calm down when I read and write. I’ll be thinking about you guy’s. I forgot to tell you about BAKER CREEK HEIRLOOM SEED CATALOG, it is free. They have many nonGMO seeds from all over the world. The pictures are really cool. The owners are vegan, they made a vegan cookbook. I think we should check it out.

    With much love,
    Pamela

    • I hope your surgery goes smoothly.

I think everyone is different as far as tattoo pain goes. I’m confident you’ll be able to handle yourself so just pick a nice place to put it and don’t compromise placement πŸ™‚

  3. I just found your You Tube channel,a few days ago. I love your recipes! So creative! I watched your tattoo story and the evolution of the tiny house. I very much admire your individuality. I can’t wait to try out the recipes you video. Thanks for, keeping it interesting.
