I know I called the last Air Fryer Recipes “Ultimate” but these are the real ultimate air fryer recipes and here’s why. Throw everything in the air fryer and 15 (to 30 minutes) later you have a complete meal.
Tip 1: When I made these I threw the frozen items in with the fresh veggie. You can throw the frozen items in early and take them out first while the veggies cook a little longer. Or you can wait and throw the frozen items in the last 10 minutes of cooking so that everything finishes at the same time.
Tip 2: I put the veggies directly into the air fryer basket. If the vegetables took up all the space then I placed a rack as a second tier to create more space for food. You can see this in the video.
Tip 3: As always it’s recommended that you rotate and flip your food at least once during the cooking process for even browning.

Vegan Seitan Sausage + Fresh Asparagus
Holy smokes. Dude air fried asparagus is UNREAL. I did buy thinner (younger?) asparagus and they got even smaller but the texture was a dream! I watched this Glue & Glitter video where she talked about coating vegan meat with a sauce or oil so that the fake meat doesn’t come out dry or chalky. She recommended BBQ sauce which I put on the seitan sausage.
Vegan Sausage: You’re just heating these up and not officially cooking them so any temperature you’re cooking your veggies at should work. I coated mine in BBQ sauce to avoid drying out the seitan. I did 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
Asparagus: Remove woody ends of the asparagus. Cut to a length where they can fit in the air fryer basket. Coat with a little oil (I did .5 TB) and a dash of salt. Mine cooked perfectly at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. If you want yours less crispy you can turn the heat down or cook for 6 minutes.
If your asparagus is thick you might need to cook for 10 minutes. I’ve seen blogs recommend up to 15 minutes.
Vegan Sweet Potato Fries + Frozen Chick’n Tenders +Edyn Jacks World Famous Vegan Ranch Recipe!
When I saw Edyn make this ranch recipe I was like “dude, I think she sold me on it”. Finally I tried it and I think everyone needs to make this. I’m pretty sure this is much cheaper than buying Follower Your Heart Ranch which I just tried for the first time the other day. This is my new addiction. Carrots, celery and ranch are my new thing. I had no idea I’ve been missing out all these years.
I cued this video to start up at the exact time so you can watch Edyn Jacks make Vegan Ranch.
Frozen Vegan Chicken Tenders: I thought these would only need 10 minutes in the air fryer but I actually let them go a little longer. Once they’re crispy on both sides you can take them out. I did about 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Definitely flip these while cooking.
Sweet Potato Fries: Slice potatoes into fry shapes. Coat with small amounts of oil and salt. I cooked mine at 400 degrees for about 18 minutes. Time will vary depending on how thick your fries are cut. Dip the fries in ranch!!!!
Edyn’s Ranch: For ever tablespoon of ranch you’d like use a TB of vegan mayo. Then mix about 1 ts vinegar of choice (I used pickled jalapeno juice) for every 1 TB of mayo. Add a sprinkle of the following herbs: garlic, onion, parsley, chives, dill, etc. If too thick add more vinegar, if too thin add more mayo.
*I did use regular yams/sweet potatoes with the orange insides. The orange ones will always come out softer than the sweet potatoes with the white inside. The white ones crisp up sooo much better. I usually get those at the asian store. I think they have a red or purple skin.
Vegan Frozen Taquitos + Fresh Corn on the Cob
Dude I never buy corn. So big round of applause for this blog for once again getting me out of my box. How to feel like you live in the 1950s? Shuck some fucking corn. I love it. I really need more pre-internet activities in my life. If you’re curious where to find vegan taquitos I got mine at whole foods. I bet trader joes has something like this in their freezer.
Corn on the Cob: I coated mine lightly with oil. I forgot to add salt and spices. I did 400 degrees for 20 minutes. My goal was to get charring on each side.
I did use buttery flavored coconut oil. Sooo good!
Frozen Taquitos: 400 degrees for 10 minutes got these super crispy.
Vegan Carrots and Frozen Corn Dogs
This was my first time noticing that field roast had vegan corn dogs in the freezer at whole foods. I love field roast brand! Since carrots are sooo cheap I’ve had the pleasure of air frying them multiple times since Avalon Bay collaborated with me a couple weeks ago. I don’t think I like flavor air fried carrots as much as I like roasted carrots but it’s pretty close. It’s faster and doesn’t heat up the whole kitchen so I’m prefer to cook them in the air fryer.
With the air fryer the carrots do stay a bit firmer on the inside. The way around that would be using lower temperature for longer times but that’s not what I do. I think another work around would be cutting the carrots smaller.
Carrots: Cut and coat in small amounts of oil. Add salt and any spices you’d like. Mix well. Cook at 360 degrees for 20 minutes then 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Flip carrots along the way. Poke carrots with fork and cook to your desired tenderness.
Frozen Vegan Corn Dogs: I cooked these at 400 for 10 minutes. Delicious!
